KRAMER 84 HH

A modern take on the legendary Kramer 84, with expanded features for today’s players and all of the Made to Rock Hard attitude intact

The Kramer 84 HH is an updated version of the legendary Kramer 84. While it has expanded features, Kramer have kept all of the 'Made to Rock Hard' attitude of the originals. The Kramer 84 HH is outfitted with an alder body and, on the quilt versions, a gorgeous AAAA quilt maple veneer top. The body is equipped with a Floyd Rose® 1000 Series tremolo paired with an R2 locking nut for vibrato bar gymnastics without the worry of knocking things out of tune. The neck is a thermally aged bolt-on hard maple neck with a satin finish and an ebony fretboard for the quilt versions and hard maple fretboard for the plain tops that has 22 jumbo frets and dot inlays. The neck has a Kramer SlimTaper™ C profile that is thin and fast, so it is ideal for shredding. The fretboard features a compound radius that is 10” at the nut and flattens out to 14” further up, so playing first-position chords is easy while allowing you to play deep string bends further up the neck without the notes fretting out. The dual-action truss rod is adjusted with a spoke wheel-style truss rod adjustment nut, which is positioned at the end of the fretboard for unfettered access. The body’s gloss finish is duplicated on the front of the 84 non-angled big banana headstock, and the front of the headstock has a matching quilt maple veneer. The 84 HH Quilt’s headstock has a classic Kramer logo, is fitted with die-cast tuning machines, a nickel string retaining bar, and has a wrench holder for the Floyd Rose on the rear, so you’ll always have the tools to adjust the tremolo on hand.
