The J-45™ is the most popular Gibson acoustic model of all time. Its distinctive tone has made it the choice of musical legends across genres for decades. Now, the Gibson Custom Shop is proud to introduce the new J-45 Custom. The classic J-45 features that players demand are all here, including a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany SlimTaper™ neck with a 24.75” scale length. The J-45 Custom takes things to the next level with Les Paul Custom-inspired cosmetics, including an Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding on the top and back, a Les Paul-style peghead with a Custom split diamond inlay in mother of pearl, a bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl Custom Block inlays, and gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners. It comes equipped with L.R. Baggs Session VTC electronics and a hardshell case. 

The Hummingbird™ was Gibson’s first square-shoulder acoustic model and has been the choice of musical legends across genres for generations. Now, the Gibson Custom Shop is proud to introduce the new Hummingbird Custom. It builds on the classic Hummingbird features that players expect, including a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a 24.75” scale mahogany neck with a round profile, and adds Les Paul Custom-inspired cosmetics, including an Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding on the top and back, a Les Paul-style peghead with a Custom split diamond inlay in mother of pearl, a bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl Custom Block inlays, and gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners. It comes equipped with L.R. Baggs Session VTC electronics and a hardshell case.

The SJ-200™ is renowned worldwide as the “King of the Flat-tops.” First introduced in 1937, musical legends have embraced this superlative instrument across genres for generations. The Super Jumbo flamed maple body, paired with a Sitka spruce top, delivers outstanding tone and unparalleled projection. This version of the SJ-200 gets the Custom treatment with Les Paul™ Custom-inspired cosmetics, including an Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding on the top and back, a bound Les Paul-style peghead with a Custom split diamond inlay in mother of pearl, a bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl Custom Block inlays, and gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners. It comes equipped with a hardshell case and L.R. Baggs™ Session VTC electronics for plug-and-play use on stage or in the studio.

First introduced in 2003, the Songwriter combines Gibson’s time-honored bracing patterns of the 1930s with our original dreadnought shape, providing outstanding tonal quality. The solid rosewood back and sides, paired with the solid Sitka spruce top, delivers a full, rich, and balanced tone. The cutaway body ensures excellent access to the upper frets on the comfortable, ebony fretboard-equipped round profile mahogany neck. This version of the Songwriter gets the Custom treatment, with Les Paul Custom-inspired cosmetics, including an Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding on the top and back, a Les Paul-style peghead with a Custom split diamond inlay in mother of pearl, a bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl Custom Block inlays, and gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners. It comes equipped with L.R. Baggs Session VTC electronics and a hardshell case.
