      Tannoy VLS 15 (EN 54)

      A.n 800-Watt passive column array loudspeaker ideally suited for challenging acoustic and architecturally sensitive spaces - with unusually high levels of dust or moisture, and outdoor applications - where background/foreground music and speech reinforcement is required.

      Ballarat Stadium, Victoria

      The brand-new A$24 million basketball stadium installation was led by Ballarat audiovisual specialists, SLC (Sound & Light Concepts). The assessment demonstrated that the court is flanked by two enormous retractable grandstands, accommodating around 1000 patrons each, along with a permanent smaller stand for 300-odd patrons.

      With the floor rated at a paltry 800kg and the structural beams around 10m+ in the air, there was no easy way of rolling in a serious PA. SLC did what they could but everyone knew a proper permanent PA needed to be installed ASAP.

      To cover the grandstands and main strait crowds, a large number of TOA HX5's were installed, powered by Lab.Gruppen C Series amplifiers,providing an excellent audio solution and coverage.

      Adelaide Superdrome

      At the Super-Drome it is important to produce clear and concise messaging and announcements for competitors and spectators, but equally as vital to drive music for a complete entertainment experience.

      TOA HX & arrays combined with the TOA FB150 sunb woofers were the perfect solution for the superdome. Powering these are the Lab.Gruppen IPD and C series amplifiers.

      City and Floriat Beaches Surf Livesaving

      TOA HA1010s were selected to providee legible coverage of over 600 meters, with IP66 rating and salt resisitance.
