      The Marion Hotel,
      Adelaide

      The Marion Hotel in Adelaide’s southern suburbs has been named the Best Overall Hotel in South Australia, at the 2020 Hotel Industry Awards for Excellence held in February 2021.

      Also taking out the honours for Best Outdoor or Non-Enclosed Facility, Best Gaming Venue – Metropolitan, and Best Redeveloped Hotel – Metropolitan, the Hurley Hotel Group pub has been recognised for its incredible $20 million transformation.

      On the back of a 2019 win with the Feathers Hotel as best Outdoor or Non Enclosed Facility Julian Lockyer of Xpansionz, who was responsible for the Audio Visual component of both upgrades, worked on a simple formula of using Lab gruppen amplifiers to power Tannoy ceiling and surface mount speakers.

      Using the CMS and CVS ranges internally and the DVS and AMS ranges in the open areas provided “a level of quality sound reinforcement that added to the ambience and atmosphere of both venues that was obviously well received by the hotels’ customers and the AHA judging panel”

      Blue Marble Lane Bar

      The Klark Teknik DM8000 DSP was installed to be the hub of this multi zone bar in the international departures area of Auckland Airport.  Tannoy OCV pendants were selected for their clean aesthetic and superior sonic response.

      Seaview Townsville

      Installer: NQAV.

      Utilising multiple Klark Teknik DM8000s as the audio backbone of this popular beach front pub. The PA solution was completed with Tannoy CVS, CMS, AMS and Turbosound Athens speakers powered by the Lab.Gruppen E and C series amplifiers.
